A fast growing and adaptable oak, well-suited for wetter soils and high moisture earning it’s name. Good for establishing a landscape tree quickly, especially in those wetter areas. Moderately attractive to wildlife with it’s numerous small acorns. Reaching heights of 60 - 80 feet, this variety of oak has a shorter lifespan than it’s long-lived cousins and can be expected to live around 50 -75 years.
