Our Story

Our names are Megan and Brandon. We grew up in North Carolina and appreciate the beauty of the state and the down-to-earth people that live in it.  We also value a wholesome farming lifestyle in a time where too many folks are caught up on social media, texting or watching tv and have forgotten what it’s like to go outside, grow their own food, or simply enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.  This is the reason we bought our 16 acre property and are trying to make it our own as we aspire to build a farm.  We have three wonderful children that always keep us on our toes and make life interesting.  We strive to get all three kids plenty of time to play outside, catch bugs, play in the dirt and learn about plants and animals.  We have started a small fruit orchard, planted pecans and walnuts, cleared some pasture and continue to develop our property.  Next step is starting our native hardwood nursery!
